My multimedia project Riding the artificial wave presents to you a magazine feature called Surfing away from shore.

Surfing away from shore is a print article looking at the rise of artificial wave technology and the impacts it is having on surfing.

It is written for Huck Magazine and features interviews from Wayne Dart, representative for wave pool company Surf Lakes, Jess Ponting, a leading academic in sustainable surf tourism, Joel Gary, a professional surf coach and Zachary Plopper, conservationist director at non-for-profit organisation Wildcoast.

I would like to thank everyone for their contributions to the piece and hope you enjoy reading it.
