Turning my attention to my online piece, I wanted to cover a topic in detail which could still be closely linked to my magazine piece.
I conducted an interview with Jess Ponting a leading academic in sustainable surf tourism for my print piece and we spoke in depth about the impacts of wave pools both commercially and environmentally.
I realised that the environmental impacts artificial wave technology is having are far greater than what I originally thought. Jess had spoken in so much detail about these environmental impacts that I have decided to focus my online piece solely on the subject.
